For you we can organize special visits to lavender fields and if you are interested you can help with harvesting what is organized in May. You would be able to see how it is processed and buy some of the eco products of lavender.
You can find out how is honey produced, find out more about bees, their work and way of life in hive. There you would be able to buy chestnut honey known as the healthiest one, especially from this region, and other kinds of honey produced in pure nature.
It is possible to organize hiking through forest or riding bicycle on marked route through countryside. If you are interested in archery, paintball, canoe or rafting rides on the Una river, no problem. All your ideas are welcomed.
In summer months you can take a swim and refresh in Una river. Because of calcareous sinter on the river are plenty little islands during low water level where you can swim to or row to with traditional wooden river boat. In the middle of river is a bigger island where you can take rest, sunbathe, even make a barbecue or picnic for your friends. It is possible to organize rafting on the river with more extreme start on the upper river or smoother start in lower part of the river. Beautiful Una, how local people usual call the river, always offers unique and unforgettable experience.
Pleasant moments are also going to have fans of fishing and hunting because wealth of fishes and wild game is going to stay in nice memories. For the ones that prefer family weekends and wants to enjoy in taste of some local specialties we recommend visit to restaurant Djed. Also, good known manifestations are traditionally every year – “Kestenijada” in October and “Kobasijada” in March, are very interesting to visit.
